“大聲跟我讀——A”鏡頭緩緩拉近，明亮的燈光下一個(gè)小姑娘正興致勃勃地當(dāng)著小老師，告訴你吧，那個(gè)老師就是我，至于學(xué)生是誰(shuí)呢？哈，賣(mài)個(gè)關(guān)子，讓我慢慢道來(lái)。
最近我發(fā)現(xiàn)媽媽的英語(yǔ)個(gè)別發(fā)音很不標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，我心中不禁萌發(fā)出一個(gè)念頭—搞個(gè)速成培訓(xùn)班教媽媽學(xué)英語(yǔ)。我左哄右騙，死拉硬纏，終于把媽媽這個(gè)學(xué)生給逼上了梁山，于是我的“teacth”生涯就開(kāi)始了。
一復(fù)習(xí)鞏固
根據(jù)我的教學(xué)大綱，決定先幫媽媽復(fù)習(xí)鞏固一下英文字母。我讓媽媽先背一遍字母歌，不背不知道，一聽(tīng)嚇一跳，媽媽有好幾個(gè)字母發(fā)音大走樣，我只好讓媽媽按照我的要求把那些字母每個(gè)讀30遍。開(kāi)始媽媽很虛心，可到后來(lái)就不耐煩了說(shuō)：“我那么聰明只要讀三遍就好了，哪用讀那么多遍呀？”看來(lái)媽媽還真是死鴨子—嘴硬，我得改變策略，硬的不行來(lái)軟的，我陪著笑臉說(shuō)：“媽媽，熟能生巧，業(yè)精于勤，你讀得不錯(cuò)，如果能鞏固鞏固，就更好了�！边@招還真管用，服軟不服硬的媽媽又認(rèn)真學(xué)了起來(lái)，不久字母就搞定了。
二單詞訓(xùn)練
學(xué)完字母，當(dāng)然是學(xué)單詞啦！我先教媽媽最簡(jiǎn)單的，我本想看媽媽的`好戲，沒(méi)曾想媽媽又快又標(biāo)準(zhǔn)地“吐”出這幾個(gè)單詞，嗯，看來(lái)媽媽的基礎(chǔ)還不差，這幾個(gè)單詞還難不倒她嗎！我壞笑著決定給媽媽增加一點(diǎn)難度，果然不出我所料，我教的這幾個(gè)單詞，媽媽都沒(méi)學(xué)過(guò)，發(fā)音就更別提多走樣了。我反復(fù)糾正，可媽媽就是我行我素，正當(dāng)我苦思冥想著如何糾正時(shí)，瞧見(jiàn)媽媽偷偷摸摸地在本子上寫(xiě)著什么，我很奇怪，趁媽媽不注意之時(shí)，一把搶過(guò)本子一看，差點(diǎn)笑掉大牙，原來(lái)媽媽把“waterbbottle”寫(xiě)成了“我偷抱頭”，英譯中了，我看了把肚子都笑疼了，我邊學(xué)邊把本子還給媽媽，媽用這個(gè)笨辦法搞定了不少短語(yǔ)和單詞呢！
三完美考核

2. i like my job for three reasons that it has led me to choose this occupation. first, teaching is learning. to make my lectures more constructive(積極,有建設(shè)性) and stimulating(激情), i have to read more books, eplore new knowledge and gain a better understanding of the world –the every thing that i enjoy in my life. second, teaching means freedom and independence. as a teacher, i’m free to use my own ideas and make my own decision, this privilege(特權(quán)) not everyone can have, even those with highly-paid positions. third, as a college teacher, i can acquire the more opportunity to continue learning. finally, i like teaching because it offers certain peace of mind. no more rushing to catch a morning bus, no more aniety to please a boss, no more worries about your paycheck which is steady(穩(wěn)定), even though it is not handsome(可觀).
3. there is something about my job which i don’t like very much. for eample, i must get to classroom on time, don’t late one minute when i have teaching task; i have not relations with the local government and society, there are not convenience of solving some difficulties in my life through privilege ; i must write some article about my profession i’m teaching because for my professional passing judgment;
4. although, being a college teacher, it has its advantages and its disadvantages. in my opinion, a college teacher is a better profession, i will decided on a college teacher as my life-long career.

Firstly, work isthe only way for us to satisfy our basic needs. In order to get food, clothesand other living conditions to live happily, we have to work hard. In thisaspect, work is a natural responsibility for us, for our families. and soaring commodity prices, they have no choice but to struggle to make a living, and thus it would be impossible to spare a hand to help others because it may bring them into trouble. Therefore, standing by indifferently is their only choice。

my wife, shirley, and i have gone on vacations to a quiet beach in southwestern florida for most of our married life. if that beach could talk, it would tell of teenage newlyweds who sunned and wrote i love you on its sands. it would tell of a little girl with eyes the color of the sea gathering seashells and of three wild boys leaping and diving into the surf. it would tell of joyous visits over the years from friends, parents, grandparents, new brides and grooms -- and now grandchildren. the beach would tell glorious tales of warmth and gratitude.
but i realized one day that i had rarely epressed my gratitude to the one whod lived those years with me. on our 40th wedding anniversary, shirley and i walked again the familiar margin of the sea. i told her then how thankful i was that she shared my life.
we dont have to wait for anniversaries to thank the ones closest to us -- the ones so easily overlooked. if i have learned anything about giving thanks, it is this: give it now! while your feeling of appreciation is alive and sincere, act on it. saying thanks is such an easy way to add to the worlds happiness.
a few years ago, a young woman from a neighboring town won a scholarship to a prestigious college. although the inner-city high school she attended was plagued with problems, she overcame them and ecelled. when she graduated, she commended the often-maligned school for its challenging courses and her teachers for their special interest and encouragement. i cant say enough good things about the school and the teachers who gave me so much of themselves, she said. i shall be eternally grateful to them.

now as i saw her, i realized what an uncommon sacrifice it had been. and, after all those years, i told her so! what you did was way beyond the call of duty, i said. thank you. i was rewarded with a surprised smile and a sparkle in her eyes.
each human being is yearning for kind words of appreciation. in december 1991, 17-year-old candi browns car overturned; the roof collapsed and crushed her skull. the crews of engine company 8 and med 15 in grayson, ga., rushed her to gwinnett medical center. doctors told her parents to prepare for the worst. but candi survived. a year later the family served a holiday dinner to the gwinnett county firefighters and emergency medical technicians. during dinner candi, whose goal is to walk naturally again, rose painfully and said, thank you for helping god save my life and giving me a second chance. i love you.

thankfulness sets in motion a chain reaction that transforms people all around us -- including ourselves. for no one ever misunderstands the melody of a grateful heart. its message is universal; its lyrics transcend all earthly barriers; its music touches the heavens.
