提起我的英語老師，可不是三言兩語能描述的。
她挺胖的，長得很黑，她的皮膚可以算得上那種健康色，這和她生長的地方也有很大的關系──她來自菲律賓，一點漢語都不會說。不過看上去也蠻像中國人的。
哦！忘了介紹，她可不是我們學校的老師，是我自己認識的！也許你很奇怪：世界那么大，你怎么會認識一個連一點漢語都不會的外國人呢？
其實，我和她很有緣，第一次相見是在玲達外語學校，她們在招生，我見她第一面就覺得她讓人看起來很舒服，我就主動過去與她交談，我想不到，我竟用我會的一點英語知識和她交流，雖然是很簡單的問題，但我還是很高興，因為在交流的過程中我向她介紹了中國以及新疆的風土人情，并自豪的向她介紹了美麗的人間仙境哈納斯，同時，我也了解到更令我興奮不已的`事情，我們倆的生日竟在同一天！
接下來的日子，也許因為生日的緣分吧！我們彼此之間也很欣賞，在她的課堂上，被提問的總是我，經(jīng)常受到她用英語表揚的也是我，就這樣我們漸漸的熟悉了。有時我也會教她一些日常的漢語，不過這對于她，真的很困難，就跟我們學英語是一樣的，記得有一次，我教她：“早上好”的時候，她不明白這是什么意思，我解釋了半天，她似乎還是不太明白。后來我用英語問她“吃飯了嗎？”，要求她用漢語回答，沒想到她竟然用盲目的目光看著我，說了一句“早上好！”，就這樣，我們之間鬧出了不少笑話，后來我知道要讓她學會一句中國話，先得用英語給她講明白意思，就這樣，她在我的“逼迫”下，也會說幾句中國話了！她很聰明，會找一些巧門，就比如說記我的名字吧！她老是記不住，忽然有一天，她會念了，雖然不太清楚，但可以聽懂，她很高興，她說記住羊肉，就可以記住楊睿了，這樣好記，我聽后苦笑不得，但我很佩服她的聰明。
我們在一起總是很快樂，她只比我大９歲，我們一起玩的時候我甚至可以叫她姐姐，我教她漢語，她教我英語，這不是一舉兩得嗎？交這樣的朋友值！
但我們說對方的語言并不是很流利，想表達清楚一句稍微難懂的話時，有時會結結巴巴半天，導致對方聽不懂，甚至會把意思理解錯，所以，我已經(jīng)下定決心要好好學英語。
英語對我們的用處很大，因為中國是發(fā)展中的國家，正在加強和各國之間的聯(lián)系，到時候的社會肯定是和各國的聯(lián)系很密切，語言不通怎么能行呢？
我喜歡和我這么有緣的English teacher！更喜歡這么聰明又給我這么大啟迪的外籍教師！

Christmas arouses increasing attention year by year in China。 Christmas cards become popular with students。 People hold Christmas parties and exchange Christmas girts。 A lot or TV and radio programs about Christmas are on。 Meanwhile the Spring Festival is less appealing （有吸引力的）to youngsters。 Thus some people wonder whether Christmas will replace the Spring Festival。
This worry is fairly unnecessary。 Why ？ One reason lies that Christmas only affects Christians，college students and joint—venture （合資企業(yè)）workers。 Another reason is that Christmas is mostly celebrated in cities。 Few people in countryside show extreme interest in this exotic（帶有異國情調的） festival。 By contrast，the Spring Festival is the most influential traditional festival in every family。
