　　Today many college students have their own hobbies. For example, some of them like singing; some of them enjoy playing the guitar; some of them are keen on painting; some of them are crazy about taking photos, and so on.

　　I think it’s meaning for college students to have hobbies, because hobbies can benefit them a lot. On one hand, after a long-time study, hobbies can make them feel relaxed. On the other hand, when they feel depressed, hobbies can bring them happiness. Furthermore, hobbies can mould their temperament as well as show their characteristics.

　　我認為大學(xué)生擁有自己的愛好很有意義，因為愛好會讓他們受益匪淺。一方面，經(jīng)過一段長時間學(xué)習(xí)，業(yè)余愛好可以讓他們得到放松。另一方面，當他們覺得沮喪時，愛好還可以給他們帶來歡樂。此外，愛好可以陶冶情操又可以展現(xiàn)他們的風(fēng)采。

　　However, some students are so addicted to their hobbies that they spend less time on study. How foolish of them to do so! In my view, if we focus too much on one thing, either our studies or hobbies will be badly affected. Thus, we are supposed to balance them in a proper way.

Hobbies help us to relax after a long period of hard work, and offer various activities for the people who are retiring. As to my mother, her hobby is to go square dancing after supper. 　　As to my father, his hobby is watching football games on TV. Among all my hobbies, the favorite one is reading. When I was a little girl, I love reading comic books. When Im getting old, I love fiction very much. I have so much fun from reading them.

　　My hobbies are colorful, singing, playing piano, drawing, among which I prefer swimming.

　　This summer, my mother gave me a swimming interest class. The first day I went to the natatorium and saw the pool. My feet were trembling. Then the coach saw it and said, "don't be afraid. Just take the plunge and swim." With that, I pushed into the water, the coach is good and bad. The pool was full of water and could not see anything, but I floated up through the buoyancy belt, and I swam hard and swam to the other side. When I climbed ashore, I felt very proud. The next day, the third day... I followed the coach's instructions carefully, and slowly I swam more easily, and I did the standard work.

　　Swimming makes me understand that you will succeed as long as you work hard. Unfortunately, it's autumn. I can't learn to go swimming. Next year I will report to the intermediate class, and I will try harder. I believe I can swim better.

　　我的愛好豐富多彩，有唱歌、彈鋼琴、畫畫，其中我比較喜歡游泳。
