一．目標(biāo)展示。朗讀下面的句子，并注意劃線的部分。
二．一般過去時的用法 ㈠ 基本用法
1. 表示過去某一時間所發(fā)生的動作或存在的狀態(tài)，常與yesterday，last week，a moment ago，in 1949等表示過去的時間狀語連用。 Eg: What did you have for breakfast this morning? The police stopped him on his way home last night.
2. 表示過去某一段時間內(nèi)經(jīng)�；蚍磸�(fù)發(fā)生的.動作，常和表示頻率的狀語 連用。
Eg: Last term we often played basketball 三．一般過去時的結(jié)構(gòu)
㈠ 含Be動詞的一般過去時的結(jié)構(gòu)
肯定句：主語 + was / were + 其他成分.（注意was / were的選�。� 否定句：主語 + was / were + not + 其他成分.
一般疑問句：Was / Were + 主語 + 其他成分？（注意肯定及否定回答） Eg: He was late for school yesterday. He was not late for school yesterday.
---Was he late for school yesterday? ---Yes, he was. / No, he wasn't. ㈡ 含實義動詞的一般過去時的結(jié)構(gòu)
1. 實義動詞過去式的變化規(guī)則。（規(guī)則動詞的變化）
注意：① prefer的過去式為preferred；
② travel的過去式為travelled（美式英語）/ traveled（英式英語） 2. 基本結(jié)構(gòu)
肯定句：主語 + 動詞的過去式 + 其他成分. 否定句：主語 + didn't + 動詞原形 + 其他成分.
一般疑問句：Did + 主語 + 動詞原形 + 其他成分？（注意肯定、否定回答） Eg: He played basketball yesterday afternoon. He didn't play basketball yesterday afternoon.
---Did he play basketball yesterday afternoon? ---Yes, he did. / No, he didn't. 四．時間標(biāo)志詞
在一般過去時的句子中，常會有一些表示過去的時間狀語，歸納如下： 1. 用一個具有過去意義的名詞表示時間狀語。Eg: yesterday、the day before yesterday。
2. “l(fā)ast + 時間名詞”表示時間狀語。Eg: last Monday、last year。 3. “時間名詞 + ago”表示時間狀語。Eg: a week ago、five minutes ago。 4. When引導(dǎo)的過去狀語從句表示時間狀語。 Eg: when they were young、when he came home。
除了以上四種表示過去的時間狀語外，常用的還有just now、 the other day、in1980、in the past、at the age of...、in the old days等。
