How to Solve the Problem of Heavy Traffic
Nowadays, the urban traffic is getting increasingly heavy in China. The roads and streets are packed with cars, bicycles and pedestrians, and traffic jams and accidents have become commonplace.
現如今，中國的城市交通正變得越來越擁擠。道路和大街都塞滿了汽車、自行車和行人，堵車和交通事故已變得很普遍。
The people and government have all realized that effective measures should be taken before things get worse. For example, the govemment should invest more in constructing new roads and repairing and maintenance of old ones, particularly those in busy areas of cities. Besides, more public bus routes and more subways should be opened up so that more people will take the public transportation instead of traveling by private cars or bicycles. At the same time, it is essential that stricter traffic rules and regulations be issued to strengthen traffic
control and facilitate the normal and efficient running of all means of transportation.
公眾和政府都意識到，在事情變得更加糟糕之前，應該采取有效的'措施了。比如，政府應該在建設新的道路和修理并保養(yǎng)舊路上做更多投資，尤其是在城市的繁忙地區(qū)。另外，應該開通更多的公交車線路和地鐵，這樣更多人會用公交出行，而不是使用私家車或自行車。同時，頒布更嚴格的交通規(guī)則和規(guī)范，以增強交通管制并促使所有交通方式正常和有效的運行，這點很重要。
