奧大利亞高等教育部為了進(jìn)一步鞏固中澳雙方在高等教育領(lǐng)域的關(guān)系，于2011年5月23日，澳大利亞高等教育部長克里斯·埃文斯參議員(Chris Evans)宣布了首個(gè)澳中大學(xué)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金項(xiàng)目，該項(xiàng)目將澳中大學(xué)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金項(xiàng)目將為澳大利亞和中國各100名本科生和研究生提供到對方國家短期學(xué)習(xí)的機(jī)會(huì)。

　　目前，為了吸引更多更優(yōu)秀的學(xué)子前來求學(xué)，促進(jìn)澳洲與鄰國之間的學(xué)術(shù)、教育交流和長期持續(xù)關(guān)系，各大學(xué)針對中國留學(xué)生也制定了一系列的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金政策。下面為大家介紹澳洲八大名校的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金設(shè)置情況。
