2013年考研復(fù)試技巧之英語口語
提高口語必背26個句型：
1. So + 形容詞 + be + 主詞 + that + 句子 (如此...以致于...)
例句: So precious is time that we can’t afford to waste it.
時間是如此珍貴，我們經(jīng)不起浪費它。
2. Adj + as + Subject(主詞)+ be, S + V(雖然...)
例句：Rich as our country is, the qualities of our living are by no means satisfactory.
**by no means = in no way = on no account 一點也不
雖然我們的國家富有，我們的生活品質(zhì)絕對令人不滿意。
3.The + ~er + S + V, ~~~ the + ~er + S + V
The + more + 形 + S + V, ~~~ the + more + 形 + S + V ~~~(愈...愈...)
例句：The harder you work, the more progress you make. 你愈努力，你愈進(jìn)步。
The more books we read, the more learned we become. 我們書讀愈多，我們愈有學(xué)問。
4. By +V-ing, ~~ can ~~ (借著...，..能夠..)
例句: By taking exercise, we can always stay healthy.
借著做運動，我們能夠始終保持健康。
5. On no account can we + V ~~~ (我們絕對不能...)
例句：On no account can we ignore the value of knowledge.
我們絕對不能忽略知識的價值。
6. The reason why + 句子 ~~~ is that + 句子 (...的原因是...)
例句：The reason why we have to grow trees is that they can provide us with fresh air.
我們必須種樹的原因是它們能供應(yīng)我們新鮮的空氣。
7. Nothing is + ~~~ er than to + V
Nothing is + more + 形容詞 + than to + V
例句：Nothing is more interesting than to read books.

9. There is no denying that + S + V ...(不可否認(rèn)的...)
例句：There is no denying that the qualities of our living have gone from good to better.

例句: There is no one but longs to have some sincere friends.

11. be + forced/compelled/obliged + to + V (不得不...)
例句：Since the examination is around the corner, I am compelled to give up playing computer games.
既然考試迫在眉睫，我不得不放棄玩電腦游戲。
12. It is conceivable that + 句子 (可想而知的)
It is obvious that + 句子 (明顯的)
It is apparent that + 句子 (顯然的)
例句：It is conceivable that knowledge plays an important role in our life.
可想而知，知識在我們的一生中扮演一個重要的角色。
13. For the past + 時間，…+ 現(xiàn)在完成式...(過去...年來，...一直...)
例句：For the past few years, music/sports/reading, has played a key role in my daily life.
過去幾年來,音樂/體育/閱讀一直在我的生活中很重要.
14.. Since + S + 過去式，S + 現(xiàn)在完成式。
例句：Since I read Hemingway when I was 19, I have been attracted by his witty and charming way of writing, especially his “Iceberg Theory”.
自從我19歲那年開始讀海明威,我就被他那智慧又富有魅力的寫作手法所吸引,特別是他的 “冰山理論”.
15. be closely related to ~~ (與...息息相關(guān))
例句：Taking exercise is closely related to health.
做運動與健康息息相關(guān)。
16. Due to/Owing to/Thanks to + N/V-ing, ~~~ (因為...)
例句：Thanks to his encouragement, I finally realized my dream.
因為他的鼓勵，我終于實現(xiàn)我的夢想。
17. Leave much to be desired (令人不滿意)
例句：The condition of our traffic/environment leaves much to be desired.
我們的交通/環(huán)境狀況令人不滿意.

23. be based on (以...為基礎(chǔ))
例句：The friendship is based on sincerity. 友誼是建立在真誠的基礎(chǔ)上的。
Whether you can speak deeply upon an issue is based on what you know about this matter and how many related books and resources you have seen.
你對問題看法的深入與否取決于你對這個問題的認(rèn)知度及你曾經(jīng)看過多少相關(guān)的書籍和資料.
24. Spare no effort to + V (不遺余力的)
例句：We should spare no effort to protect our cultural legacy, especially those old buildings which can tell us the ancient legends.
我們應(yīng)該不遺余力地保護(hù)我們的文化遺產(chǎn),特別是那些能給我們講述古老傳奇的老建筑。
25. bring home to + 人 + 事 (讓...明白...事)
例句：We should bring home to young people the value of keeping our own traditions and culture.

26. Get into the habit of + V-ing = make it a rule to + V (養(yǎng)成...的習(xí)慣)
