“so…that” and “so that”
“so…that”用來引導(dǎo)表示結(jié)果或程度的從句,意思為“那樣……以致(因而)”,是副詞,形容詞與副詞的連用,其結(jié)構(gòu)是:so + adj. (adv.) +從句
He is so clever that he can solve the problem quickly.
他太聰明了,很快就解決了這個(gè)問題。
“so that”主要用以引導(dǎo)表示目的的從句,意思為“以便,使能夠”,從句謂語常由can, could, may, might, should構(gòu)成。
Let’s hurry so that we can get there on time.快點(diǎn),這樣我們能準(zhǔn)時(shí)到達(dá)那兒。
