Period 1
一、教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1、能聽(tīng)懂、會(huì)說(shuō)新單詞carry,clever,understand,difficult,friendly,happy as a bird;能理解單詞the other people,spoke to,never mind;
2、能聽(tīng)懂、會(huì)說(shuō)、復(fù)述本課原故事;
3、能感知并理解形容詞原級(jí)比較形式“as…as”的用法;
4、滲透與人為善的教育。
二、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)及難點(diǎn)
重點(diǎn):理解并復(fù)述故事
難點(diǎn):“as…as”結(jié)構(gòu)。
三、教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備
英語(yǔ)讀物一本、單詞卡片、教學(xué)掛圖、教學(xué)磁帶等。(有條件的學(xué)?衫没脽羝蚨嗝襟w課件)
四、教學(xué)步驟
Step 1 Warming up
1、師生問(wèn)候。
2、唱已學(xué)的英語(yǔ)歌曲。
3、利用教室中的物品或文具作比較,自由會(huì)話。
Step 2 Presentation and drill
1、情景引入,教新單詞carry,clever,understand,diffcult,friendly,happy as a bird。
1)抱起一疊作業(yè)本,假裝抱不動(dòng)。
T:Oh,the exercise books are so heavy that I cant carry it .Who can carry them for me ? Who can help me?
S1: Let me carry them for you.
T: Thank you . Youre so friendly.
板書(shū)單詞carry 和friendly,帶讀。
2)出示英語(yǔ)讀物。
T: S2,please read this story for us.
S2: Sorry ,I cant read it.
T: It doesnt matter . This book is too difficult.
板書(shū)單詞difficult,帶讀。
T:Who can read it?
S3: Let me have a try.…
T: You are very clever. I feel very happy. And I think I am as happy as a bird . Do you understand?
板書(shū)單詞clever,understand,happy as a bird,解釋其含義,然后帶讀若干遍。
2、聽(tīng)課文B部分錄音,跟讀單詞。
Step 3 Fast reading and ilstening
1、快速閱讀課文A部分,理解故事大意,回答問(wèn)題。
T: One day ,the children were free. Where did they go? what did they do? Please read the story puickly and see what the story is about.
2、聽(tīng)課文A部分錄音,進(jìn)一步理解故事內(nèi)容;模信其語(yǔ)音、語(yǔ)調(diào),掌握新詞難句的讀音。
Step 4 intensive reading
1、精讀課文,討論完成問(wèn)題。
2、再次閱讀課文,然后兩人一組完成課文C部分練習(xí)。
3、再次聽(tīng)錄音,跟讀。
Step 5 Consolidation
1、根據(jù)表格復(fù)述故事。
2、評(píng)價(jià)。
3、練習(xí)。(見(jiàn)《練習(xí)冊(cè)》P33-34)
4、家庭作業(yè)。
1)聽(tīng)磁帶,背課文。
2)復(fù)述故事給家人聽(tīng)。
Period 2
一、教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1、能掌握并熟練地運(yùn)用結(jié)構(gòu)“as…as”
2、通過(guò)情景交際,提高學(xué)生運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言、組織語(yǔ)言的能力,激發(fā)學(xué)生的求知欲。
二、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)及難點(diǎn)
重點(diǎn):掌握并靈活運(yùn)用“as…as”結(jié)構(gòu)。
難點(diǎn):對(duì)人(事)物作出恰如其分的比較描述。
三、教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備
人物和動(dòng)物圖片、各種文具若干。
四、教學(xué)步驟
Step 1 Warming up
1、師生問(wèn)候。
2、復(fù)述課文A部分故事。
Step 2 Practice
課文D部分。
1、兩人一組討論。
T: Read the description carefully. Discuss and find out how tall each child is.
2、完成練習(xí)。
Step 3 Consolidation
1、創(chuàng)設(shè)情景,自由會(huì)話。
情景:新學(xué)期第一天來(lái)到學(xué)校,你的心情怎樣?你幫助老師和同學(xué)做了些什么?你和你的同學(xué)有沒(méi)有展示和比較你們的新文具呢?

Peter:Hello , Sam.Nice to meet you again!
Sam: Nice to see you again,too!
Peter: Its the first day of a new term . Our school is more beautiful than before.
Sam:Yes. It is as beautiful as a garden .How do you feel today?
Peter : Im as happy as a bird. How about you?
Sam:Me too! Oh,Miss Li is coming with out new books. Lets go and help her.
P&S: Good morning ,Miss Li .Lets help you carry these heavy books.We are as strong as horses/?Hercules.
T:Oh,you are so kind. Thank you.
(他們走進(jìn)教室,Peter看見(jiàn)Ann在擦黑板,但怎么也擦不到高處的字。)
Peter: Hi ,Ann. Let me help you. Youre not as tall as me .
Ann: All right .Thank you.
Sam: Hi, Ann. Come on. I bought many stationaries yesterday .Would you like to have a look?
Ann: OK.
Sam:This is my new schoolbay . Is it nice?
Ann: Yes. Mine is as nice as yours. Whats in it ? Let me look!Oh!Its a big new Cooldog pencil-box. I got a new one too.Look! Its as big as yours.

Period 3
一、教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1、能理解新單詞 camel, fox, lion,bull,brave;
2、能正確地使用形容詞brave, clever,happy,strong,angry,quiet;
3、能正確地書(shū)寫(xiě)含有“as…as”結(jié)構(gòu)的句子。
二、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)及難點(diǎn)
重點(diǎn):熟練運(yùn)用并書(shū)寫(xiě)含用“as…as”結(jié)構(gòu)的句子。
難點(diǎn):正確選擇參照物進(jìn)行比較。
三、教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備
動(dòng)物圖片(或幻燈片)等。
四、教學(xué)步驟
Step 1 Warming up
1、師生問(wèn)候。
2、熱身操。
T:I can run. I can run as fast as a rabbit.
I can climb.I climb as quickly as a monkey.

帶著學(xué)生邊說(shuō)邊舞。

學(xué)生每說(shuō)出一種動(dòng)物及描述它們的形容詞,即板書(shū)出來(lái)。(學(xué)生能說(shuō)出 camel, fox, lion 最好,若不能說(shuō)出教師注意引導(dǎo)。)
T:My favorite animals are camels.(出示駱駝的圖片)Theyre brave.They can live in the desert. We call them"a boat of the desert".
T:Do you like foxes?(出示狐貍的圖片)Foxes are very clever.
T(出示獅子的圖片):The lion is the King of the Forest.
2、完成課文E部分練習(xí)。
Step 3 practice
學(xué)戲——Little Doctor(小博士)
學(xué)生說(shuō)出所知道的動(dòng)物的名稱,看誰(shuí)說(shuō)得多,評(píng)為“小博士”。
1、用所學(xué)的形容詞描述動(dòng)物。
The foxes are very clever.
The camels are very tall.
The horses are very strong.
The lions are very brave.

Step 4 Consolidation
1、讓學(xué)生們互相調(diào)查了解彼此最喜愛(ài)的動(dòng)物,并說(shuō)明理由。
2、評(píng)價(jià)。
3、練習(xí)。(見(jiàn)《練習(xí)冊(cè)》P36)
4、家庭作業(yè)。
