  Unit 2 What time is it ?  (簡案) Part B Let’s talk   Students: Grade 4  Teacher: 南城陽光一小 章希凡 I. Teaching aims 1.The main task:  Pupils will be able to talk about their timetables in daily life . 2. Language focus:  Pupils will be able to use the following words and patterns properly and freely when they talk about their timetables: What time is it?  It’s ---o’clock.  It’s time to/ for ---. Hurry! 3.Affection and attitude: Through drama activities(including games, chant, role-play, imitating, acting and poem reading), pupils will have stronger self-confidence and interest in English. II. Teaching contents:   1. Words:  hurry, ready, oops（之前略有接觸） 2. Patterns: What time is it? It’s ---o’clock.  It’s time to/ for ---. (前面幾節(jié)課有出現(xiàn)過，但學(xué)生還不能運(yùn)用自如) III. Difficult points:   Difference between “time to”and “time for”. IV. Teaching procedure: Step1.  Warming-up 1.Free talk:  （通過free talk，整體呈現(xiàn)表達(dá)時(shí)間和活動(dòng)的重點(diǎn)句型，讓學(xué)生在真實(shí)的語境中聽說這些句子，使學(xué)生加深理解并初步學(xué)會用這些句型來交際。） What time is it? Is it time to---? It’s time for English. What can we do in English classes?  2. Talking about my watches and clocks:  (在談?wù)摾蠋煹氖直砗顽姷倪^程中，復(fù)習(xí)了時(shí)間的表達(dá)法，再次讓學(xué)生感受“It’s time to/ for---”等句型。) First，look at my special watches and clocks. Which one do you like? Why？What time is it? It’s---. Maybe it’s time to / for-----. Step2.  Presentation and practice 1.  Let’s chant: (Objective: Compare “time to” with “time for”. ) Listen to the chant.----------Chant together-------Conclusion ------Fill in the blanks with“to / for”. 2.  Miming game: (Objective: Practice “What time is it” and “expression of time and activities.”  Encourage pupils to act. ) A: “What time is it”?   B: It’s ---o’clock.  A: It’s----o’clock. It’s time to/ for-----. 3.  Let’s talk 1). Normal reading 2).Different reading In these different situations, how can you say the sentences?---------Practice in groups. 3).
