　　I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know.

　　Unfortunately, that day has come.

　　I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee.

　　As far as my successor goes, I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.

　　I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.

　　I have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple, and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you.

　　如果決定離職的話，除了口頭上向上司請辭外，呈上一封辭職信是不應缺少的步驟。

　　辭職信內容

　　離職日期、辭去的工作職位。

　　簡述辭職原因。(可提可不提)

　　向公司、上司及同事表示謝意。

　　要求撰寫離職證明書(reference letter)。

　　用詞友善

　　無論是你決定不干，還是被要求自動辭職，撰寫辭職信時，措詞切記要適當、友善，千萬不要把辭職信當作發(fā)泄的工具，用詞惡劣或猛數(shù)公司、老板的不是。原因有三∶

　　- 你的未來老板隨時會要求你的.前任老板提供關於你在職時的資料，作為聘用與否的參考。因此，別自毀長城，讓一封辭職信破壞你的大好前途。

　　- 正所謂「今日留一線，他朝好相見」，如果你轉職后還是留在同一行業(yè)內，日后在工作上或會有碰面的機會，到時便好不尷尬。

　　- 另外，誰又能保證自己與舊公司/上司他朝不會山水有相逢，再有合作的機會呢?所以千萬別讓他們留下不良的印象。
