Nowadays, some universitystudents own a company before their graduation. People have different opinionsconcerning this issue and the heated discussions are right on their way. In myopinion of the view, I do not advocate that students have a company beforetheir graduation.
如今有一些大學(xué)生在畢業(yè)前自己開(kāi)公司。人們對(duì)這一問(wèn)題有不同的意見(jiàn)，而且討論得越來(lái)越激烈。在我看來(lái)，我不支持學(xué)生在畢業(yè)前自己開(kāi)公司。
There are reasons accounting formy view. First, to manage a company needs a lot of time and energy, which wouldinfluence students’ study. The most important thing for students is to learnsomething and practice their ability of thinking independently, instead of earningmoney. Therefore, I advocate students spend more time to learn and think sothat they can find their way to live. Second, having a company beforegraduation is not good for students’ psychological health. Those who have acompany before their graduation are most those who are born with a sliver spoonin mouth. If they are allowed to have a company before their graduation, theywill never worry about their job losing and family supporting; never know howto make a living by themselves; and never want to be independent from theirparents or other relationships.

However, what I want to point out here is that not only men have the prejudice, but some women themselves do too. On one hand, they demand equal opportunity; on the other hand, they take "lady first" for granted,considering that it is perfectly justified for men to open door for them, offer their own seats to them, pay for dinner for them.Does it make sense? How can you ask others to treat you equally while you yourself have admitted the inequality in advance?

some people think we should read selectively. they argue that with the development of modern science and technology, more and more books are published every day. it is impossible for us to read all the books. what’s more, there are many bad books that are poisonous to our mind, and we shouldn’t read them. since we can’t read all the books, and we shouldn’t read bad books, we must read selectively.
but others many not agree. they emphasize that today’s society is not what it used to be. if you want to be successful, you must read widely and learn knowledge in both natural sciences and humanities. if a man knows much in one field but knows nothing in others, he may be useless. since we must have many kinds of knowledge, we must read etensively.
who’s right? there is a lot to be said for both sides of the argument. however, i think we should read etensively first and then learn deeply about the subject we are interested in.
