　　Importance of Education

　　The prosperity of a nation depends on the development of education. Throughout the world whatever advance has been made in science and technology is due to education, which brings forth by scientists and inventors. It is never overdone no matter how one emphasizes the importance of education. There is no doubt that countries with undeveloped education will remain poor.

　　Education is as vital to the development of an individual as it is to that of a nation. Of all the elements of success in our careers none is more vital than education. It is not the genius that makes the difference between success and failure. Education is the driving power. In fact, most of the famous people in our times spent many years in studies. Can you name any great men you admire who are not educated persons?

　　Yet some people are still ignorant of its importance. Some parents, especially in the countryside, think that it is unnecessary to send their children to school. Some other parents are so selfish that they have their children work for money. In consideration of the situation, compulsory education must be enforced to ensure that there will be enough educated young people for the future of our country.

　　Against the wall on your left, pushed into a corner behind the head of the bed, is a large bookcase which is crammed with papers, books, and knick-knacks, Wedged in between the bookcase and the wall opposite the bed is a small grey metal desk. It has a brown wooden chair which seems to fill the left end of the room.Stuffed under the desk is a wooden wastepaper basket overflowing with paper and debris. The wall above the bookcase and desk is completely taken up with two small posters. On the right hand of the room is a narrow closet with clothes,shoes, hats, tennis racquets, and boxes bulging out of its sliding doors. 　　In order to deal with this conundrum in the essence, firstly, I am firmly convinced that regulations that ban the abuse of private car must be taken into action. Personally, each family ought to have less than 3 cars, the individual who doesn’t abide by the rules must be punished or charged more taxation.

　　Additionally, the infrastructure also serves as a linchpin. Without roads and streets of high quality, the city’s transportation system will easily paralyzed during rush hours. Therefore, government should fix time and energy on the construction of infrastructure with high quality.

　　What’s more important, since this conundrum will not solved in a short period of time, it’s necessary for all drivers and pedestrians to have a good attitude towards traffic jam when traffic piles up. Great methods such as listening to the music, can readily relieve the anger and anxiety of drivers and pedestrians.

　　A second important argument for the value of college is that people with college degrees have better job opportunities and higher income level than people who have only a high school or vocational school education, so college means a better quality of life. Job opportunities and starting salaries are generally excellent for people with college degrees while the employment outlook may not be so cheerful for those with only a high school diploma.

　　Also, college tends to provide a labor force with a certain knowledge and skill, which is beneficial to the advancement of our society. Students who exercise their minds and develop strategies to deal with hard problems over four years of college are likely to graduate with many skills and strategies that can be transferred to dealing with tasks later in life, both on the job and in their personal life. This will surely contribute to the progress of the world.
