After passing the 20xx College Entrance Examination, I find my name in the enrolling list ofNanjingAuditUniversitywhich many young people dream of. As a boy of 18, I am happy to go to such a famous university, so that I want to make my life colorful and fruitful in university. Here's my plan for university life:

Firstly, I am an adult of 18 years old, so I should learn to be independent, especially in my study. Teachers here will not keep an eye on me as they did in the middle school and parents will not take care of everything as they did in the past. Of course, study is my own business and priority. I will pay most of my attention to it. I think the autonomous learning is the most important for a college student. Besides, I will learn how to think of the questions critically and study my courses creatively.

Secondly, it is also important to set aside some time for relaxation because study shouldn't occupy all of my free time. I will develop my hobbies to enrich my experience and broaden my horizon. At the same time, I will participate in some associations to learn something outside of textbooks and get some understandings about society and the world.

Finally, I will make more friends on campus. It is an effective way to improve my communicative abilities and confidence. How to spend a fruitful and meaningful university life? Friends can help me because we can compete with each other, make progress together.

In short, I am looking forward to my life in university and I am sure it will be happy and fruitful.

Looking around, you will find interesting difference between people’s pace of life. Some are always in a hurry and try toget everything done as soon as possible, while some other people always take their time and lead their life in a slow pace. What do you think is better? Inmy opinion, different life paces reflect various life concepts and both type shave advantages and disadvantages.

One the one hand, people living a fast pacelife are easier to get success. The people who are got used to in a hurry allthe time will have more time to do the things that they want. And most of the mare active. They have more opportunity to enjoy the happiness of success. However, they also lose something when they are hurry to pursue success. They forget to stop to enjoy life itself or treasure the beautiful scenery in theirlife. As a result, those people always have lots of success, but lack of love.

On the other hand, people who living a slow pace always can enjoy their life and be happy. The slow coaches always are more tolerant to themselves and others. They would have less stress for themselves, which may bring better mental and physical health. If they don’t push themselves to finish task, they will have more time to enjoy the beautiful scenery around their life and taste life. But, this kind of people will have less chance to be successful, because they don’t put their mind on it.

To sum up, the pace of life just is people’schoice. It is their life concept. There is nothing good or bad. But as for me,I may prefer a slower pace of life. It is just personal hobby.

  My View on Job-Hopping

Many people are inclined to do one job in their lives. In their opinions, people who change their jobs frequently are superficial and tactless. They believe that the only way to success is to stick to one job, for constant practice in a professional field helps make an txpert.

But there are still many people who don’t agree. They argue that change means progress. If you are not satisfied with your present job, of course you have the right to replace it with a more challenging and better paid one. Every change is a step to further success. This idea may be. the reason why they change their jobs so often.

For my part, I think it reasonable to change your job if you have a better opportuniry. But once you have found a position where you can fully display your ability, it is advisable to settle down to it and put all your efforts into it. Only in this way, can you get the true joy of achieving your goal.

My college lifeI am proud of being a college student. I like my college life as it is so wonderful time in my youth. As being born in small village of the remote countryside, I didn't have a good education environment. However, I set a goal and felt confident to be a college student. After hard study, I passed the entrance examination of national college by excellent achievement. All people were proud of me, as I was the first college student in my village. I was farewell warmly by them when I came to school. I was warmly welcome by school, too. After then, I’ve felt my study is not only for myself but also for the honor of my village neighborhood and our school. The college life is wonderful. All life in school are fresh. New teachers, new classmates and fresh friends are around me. I’ve felt their friendship, wide knowledge and opening mind. The grand library, school buildings and wide playground are very attracting to me. I am very eager to learn much knowledge quickly. In high school, I was ever called as a runner before time. Now,I know I am behind time so much in fact. I hope to catch up with the time by my hard studying. Every day, you can see me get up early, doing exercise hard and go to school the first one. At night, I am the one who leaves away the library.

Welcome to college life! There are a few differences from high school that you need to know...

In high school, you do homework. In college, you study.

No food is allowed in the hall in high school. In college, food must be provided at an event before students will come.

In high school, you wear your backpack on one shoulder; in college, on both.

In college, the professors can tell you the answer without looking at the teacher's guide.

In college, there are no bells or tardy slips.

In high school, you have to live with your parents. In college, you get to live with your friends.

In college, you don't have to wait in a certain lunch line to be cool.

In high school, you're told what classes to take. In college, you get to choose; that is, as long as the classes don't conflict and you have the prerequisites and the classes aren't closed and you've paid your tuition.

In high school, if you screw up you can usually sweet-talk your way out of it. In college, you're lucky to ever talk with the professor.

In high school, fire drills are planned by the administration; in college, by the drunk frat boys on their way home when the bars close.

In college, any test consists of a larger percentage of your grade than your high school final exams ever did.

In college, it's much more difficult to figure out the course schedule of the man/woman you have a crush on, in order to figure out where he/she will be walking around campus and at what time to find them there.

Once you've obtained the information described above, it's much more time-consuming to run between classes to that place where you know he/she will be in order to "just happen to bump into him/her."

In high school, when the teacher said, "Good morning," you mumbled back. In college, when the professor says, "Good morning," you write it down.

In high school, freshman guys hit on senior girls. In college, senior guys hit on freshman girls.

In college, weekends start on Thursday.

In college, there's no one to tell you not to eat pizza three meals a day.

In college, your dad doesn't pay for dates.

In high school, it never took 3 or 4 weeks to get money from Mom and Dad.

College men are cuter than high school boys.

  College women are legal.

In college, when you miss a class (or two or three), you don't need a note from your parents saying you were skip... uh, sick that day.

In high school, you can't go out to lunch because it's not allowed. In college, you can't go out to lunch because you can't afford it.

  College life rocks!

My new college life is going to start, so I cannot help feeling excited. How many times I have dreamed my beautiful and meaningful university life!

When my new life begins, I think the first thing I should do is to focus on my study. I will try my best to learn as many subjects as possible. Besides, I think I will take part in some school activities to improve my comprehensive ability, such as communication ability and so on. At the same time, I am supposed to join some student unions or clubs to make my life colorful.

I know there are many differences between high schools and universities, so I will change my study habits. In high schools, it is the times of teachers forcing students to study, but in universities, we should arrange all the things by ourselves, so I will study by myself. I will make study plans such as time schedule or something like that by myself.

Of course, I will practice myself to be more independent. Independence is a rather curtail ability for future development, so if there are any problems, I will do my best to solve it personally, and won't ask someone at first as before.

This is what I arrange for my new life, and hope it will start soon. I am ready for it!
